Default 1080p24 at 8Mbps...

Talking of WM9, you can download about a dozen short demos of 720p24 and 1080p24 from Microsoft at

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...tShowcase.aspx

Note that the 720p24 demos need a 1280 by 1024 display or higher and a 2.4G processor (or AMD equivalent), whilst the 1080p24 demo needs a 1920 by 1440 display and a 3G processor (or AMD equivalent).

...not great if you don't have broadband though, as each clip is around 100MB and on narrowband will take most of a day (assuming that your supplier doesn't cut you off after two hours or whatever). :?
