IFC acquired this film and part 2 as well. Fingers are crossed for Blu's of those. Part 2 is in MAJOR need of a decent release. OAR and PQ were way off on that old DVD. Would love to see part 1 as well.

Part 1 (Tetsuo the Iron Man) is one of my all-time favorite films. Would love to have all 3 released in the U.S. or Hong Kong for a cheaper price!

this is a cult classic. i wonder if any never-seen-before footage will be included in this edition and if a making-of is available in the BD?

I see IFC is releasing this title in the U.S. June 28 on DVD. Looks like I can not wait any longer & will need to import...

So its for certain that IFC wont release this on blu? I actually enjoyed this movie and the lossless audio should be amazing.

I got the Japanese import.
No UK subs for Japanese parts, but these are luckily very rare.

Just got the German release of Bullet man. I tested it with region A setting on my multi-region player and it works. Haven't watched it yet, so I can't comment on the AV presentation. The main reason I bought it anyway was for the extra DVD disc that contains the Tetsuo "first cut" movie.

The bullit man has DTS HD english audio; only german subs.

completely forgot it was in English. I may have to import this then
