Interesting thrillers based on a Japanese Manga. Best way to describe it would be a Japenese teenager version of Fallen. Light Yagami comes into possession of a notebook with mystical powers, write someone's name in the book and they die.

Don't want to go into more detail, but the Taiwan discs are very good and extremely cheap right now from DVD.JSDVD.COM.

Death Note is coming to blu-ray, I'll get it if it's not a DVD-rip and the price is good.

From Viz Pictures, no previous Blu-ray releases.

JSDVD is hit-or-miss. They can be relatively quick(about a week) if the product is in stock and you respond quickly to the shipping invoice, or it can take weeks if the product is suddenly out of stock. The Taiwan release appears to be a WB master(no menu, movie started straight away).

The UK version which comes out in Sept. may be the best value if it's region-free.

If you like this particular genre of film give it a view, you will not be disappointed. Once again reading and participating in this thread has steered me to a film that I might otherwise have overlooked and this film should not be overlooked.

That's awesome. I'm glad you took a chance on the film and even more glad you liked it.

Wow thats the first time I ever heard anything positive about that film and u almost gave it a perfect score. I havnt seen it though but just sayin. Got Em!!

i think if majority say its bad then everyone hops on the band wagon.

The movie isnt great only because it didnt live up to 1 and 2. If they didnt exists people would love 3 just as much as the first 2.

I like it, wasnt nearly as good as 1 and 2 but still a h3ll of a film.

wow calm down. I dont see how this could make a difference. So can you take Toby McGuire seriously just because he plays spider man? I can assure you that his movie Brothers was breath taking.

Triangle may not be your taste but it is definitely a quality movie, if you look at it objectively.
