I wouldn't worry about the Evo's reliability with modding . . . the 4g63 engine is basically bulletproof. The only think you really have to worry about is the transfer case which seems to go first. I've got about 24k on mine with no problems whatsoever. I ran a 13.09 stock, and I've got the exhaust and a very mild tune now, and it pulls much harder, but I haven't made it back to the track yet, or gotten it tuned to it's max potential.

The 350z was a very nice car, and sometimes I wish I had one again. The problem is, if you want to make them faster, it's difficult and expensive. Your typical exhaust, intake, header stuff doesn't get you much at all. And if you go forced induction, the engine is so high strung out of the box that you have to be pretty conservative with the boost, and even then people had problems. But it was a great car overall, and if you're just looking for something to keep stock, I'd definitely recommend it. Is the two doors or the two seats the issue? If you don't mind a coupe with four seats, check out the new Altima coupe with the 3.5 V6. Same engine, tuned a bit differently, and it's FWD , but it's a VERY nice looking car, inside and out. I like it better than the G35.

The STI was kind of "eh." It's more expensive than the 350z or the Evo, the interior is horrendous (if it wasn't blue everywhere it'd be ok), and it's not as easy to modify. I think the Evo looks better on the outside as well, but that's in the eye of the beholder. The STI has a few more creature comforts, such as cruise control, but I don't think it's worth the price tag. The new STI's/WRX's are UGLY!!!! I don't know what they were thinking.

If you have any questions about any of the cars, just let me know.
Thanks, I appreciate it. The 2 doors and 2 seats on the 350Z is a plus for me. I'm not the type that likes to carpool people around, although I don't let anybody else drive because I don't trust anybody. Theres a guy around here somewhere that has a black 350Z that has been killing the new Z06's. The car looks completely stock until you see the gigantic front mount

I just watched a few EVO X videos on youtube and they're looking better and better each time. I think I'd still go with the manual 6spd rather than the electronic mumbo jumbo that they're going to offer. Funny you mention the STI's creature comforts. I remember that the first STI's in 2004 did not even come with a radio or speakers lol, it was prewired for it though. Weird though. I thought all new cars came with A/C, cruise, tilt, etc...

Here's mine. 2003 F150 Supercrew. I sold my 97 Mustang GT and will hopefully be picking up a new GT soon as the CFO (wife) has approved it.

I drive a 2005 Suzuki Reno in metallic black, with a K&N air filter, and 16" Gloss Black Riaxx Secca wheels. I bought it new for only $12,500 after a $1,500 instant rebate, invoice price, $750 trade in and $500 down payment. I've had it almost 2 years and it only has around 16,700 miles.

Behind the gate I had turf-block installed. Essentially, it's open-celled block and you plant sod in the open cells. Looks like a lawn, but you can drive on it.

Near as I can tell, the idea originated in Europe and I first saw it in Heidelberg while on a business trip. Liked it so much I searched it out and used it when I had some landscaping done a couple of years later.

You can also plant herbs between the cells and every time you step on them, you'll get a lovely fresh herb smell wafting in the air. My drive is brick, and I've used marjarom, basil along the edges, rosemary, thyme, mint and a few other herbs.
