XBR2 has the WEGA HD Engine, higher quality lamp, IFP2 (optimizes contrast), CCP-XA (signal to noise filter) and an extra replacement lamp (verified acceptance of a 1080p/24 fps signal). The 70" version has an extra HDMI port in the front.
