i just got me a new nano and i need to know if i can put music on it from different computers. and if i can will it erase the music off it if i use a different computer the next time i go to put music on it

Yeah, U can. I do that on 2 comps at least, home and work. In fact I use ipod to transfer muz from home to work and vice versa.
