I wouldn't consider BeetleJuice a great movie. It was a good movie but not great.

This was going to be my next question, how old are some of you? Not you Freekman but I've noticed large number of very juvenile posts that made me question the age of some members...

I'm looking at http://boxofficemojo.com yearly top grossing lists to see what top10 movies I haven't seen:

2004: Passion of the Christ, Meet the Fockers, Day After Tomorrow (actually saw a bit of it on HDTV), National Treasure
2005: Mr & Mrs Smith
2006: Ice Age: The Meltdown, Happy Feet, The Pursuit of Happyness
2007: Shrek the Third, National Treasure 2, Alvin and the Chipmunks
2008: Hancock, Twilight, Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!
2009: Twilight 2, Alvin and the Chipmunks 2

Of the above, maybe one day I'll get around to watching Meet the Fockers and Shrek the Third. I have zero interest in the others.

Otherwise, I only finally got around to watching Gone with the Wind. I'm glad I waited for the BD, its spectacular.

I also refuse to see the "Disneyfied" version of a WW2 that is Pear Harbor after reading an article listing the myriad historical inaccuracies in it.

For a long time I refused to see Titanic, but I watched it on HDTV a few years ago and quite liked it

Also to add, I only saw Its a Wonderful Life recently, again after the BD was released. I have to say it was a far FAR better film than I expected. I expected a sappy 1940's Christmas tale and thats not really what it is. Do yourself a favor and see it ASAP.... and the God Father come on man WTF. (and for gods sake don't see the colorized version of Its a Wonderful Life).

If you do not have anything against Pitt & Jolie Mr. & Mrs Smith is a very very good movie. They are clearly enamored with each other and play off each other very very well...

I used to think quite poorly of Angeline Jolie, but after seeing Changeling, I found out she can indeed act. Maybe I'll catch Mr & Mrs Smith one of these days.

Yea as I have said above I plan to watch some of them but the Potter's I aint really interested in. Got Em!!
The first Pirates movies I thought was really awesome. The others become kind of goofy over the top CGI fests.

Harry Potter: I actually made fun of it for the first couple of years after Sorcerer's Stone. But then I gave it a chance and loved it. Its just one film, if you don't like it theres no need to watch the rest of them.

LOTR: yeah wait for the extended.

ID4 is by far the worst movie of the ones you listed. I liked it in the theater when it came out... i was 16 though. It hasn't dated well, but if you love Will Smith you'll probably like it.

Oh its FAR superior to that god awful mess.

I'd say ID4: 6/10 Wild Wild West: 2/10 one of the worst movies I've ever sat through.

Not a huge Potter fan, but I have seen them all once they released them to video. Initially I was resistant to watch any of them, I think I saw the first one when the third one was released on video. I said to myself I have to see what the ruckus was about because these movies were raking in massive dough. After seeing the first one I was quite impressed, I don't own any of the Potter films but they are worth a gander. I think the weakest one is the third so far...

Wild Wild West is not very good, if you skip it no big deal.

Hah, thats far and away my favorite Potter film (and book). The introduction of Sirius Black and Lupin really adds some complexity to the story. I'm not sure I've ever disliked a movie with Gary Oldman in it (except Lost in Space).

I thought I woudn't like the Harry Potter movies either, but I was surprised to find that they were actually quite good.
Add all of the Star Trek movies (other than the 2009 one) to my "not seen" list.

Please take my opinion on that film in the franchise very lightly, I am not even sure if that's the one I thought was the weakest, I guessed it. In fact off the top of my head I could not tell you the exact number of Potter films available on video 4 maybe 5, I dunno. They are all good fun and has some oooh ahh's that for sure...

Oh the first two are very, very good horror films, with the way the first one ended you would think they could not match it with the second, but they did...
