Technically there are five versions.

Here's my Inception set. The problem is I don't know if I should open the steelbook as the briefcase is my most wanted piece. Any advice?

In this case keep the SB sealed !! Also can the sb fit inside the sb?

The steelie would fit in the Best Buy slipfox but only if it's opened. The shrinkwrap and security tag on the back of the steelbook make it too tight.

Yes and zero intentions on selling anything. I just hate owning multiple copies of the same movie. I've considering putting the steelie in the Best Buy slipbox with the book, but it will not fit unless I open it. Then I also ponder keeping the slip and selling the sealed 3-disc combo that came with the briefcase and putting the steelie in there, then the slip in the Best Buy box with book as my "extras".

I try to avoid owning multiple copies of the same movies as well. But I usually have the standard combo versions + any exclusive that might be out there if I can find someone to get it for me (a-team, predators, shrek, inception, last airbender, etc)

In this case, I have the bb exclusive for Inception and the one I got from AMZ. Shrek I have the bb exclusive and the normal one without the talking card.

Toy Story 3 is probably the only title I have 3 different editions.

He shows four (4) versions on the pic. And mentioned he had tripple-dipped.

I wouldn't know, up to you I guess. I normally buy things to enjoy them not to keep them sealed. Is the BB exclusive lenticular or plain boring slip? My plan is to own the two different slipcover versions. Could do w/o the briefcase or steelbook and specially the single disc.

I've read this before, but forgot the answer...(this question is mainly for high def al with those slips of The A-Team, The Town, Despicable Me, Nanny McPhee and The Other Guys) How do you guys get slips only, a week in advance? Why don't the movies come with them. Seems like if you have those kinds of connections, you be able to get the movie too.

Not really, eventually all get opened Haha. I'm not much of a collector. I bought the inception exclusive because I didn't know the standard combo was included in there. I thought it was something different.

I know!

The BB exclusive is a slipbox and book. The BD with slip inside is the standard 3-disc combo pack sold separately.

I may end up selling or returning something. Completely undecided. The only reason I bought the FYE steelie is that it's the first FYE exclusive made to date for BD. If I didn't get it and it was extremely limited (as it appears to be), I'd kick myself.

They are all in the Slipcovers Sales Thread.

Leo - Despicable Me 3D is a lenticular slipcover. It seems like this will be the trend for 3D titles.
