They could really do themselves a favor and make a formal announcement on what they are going to do.

I would be perfectly OK if they released this Christmas episode as a standalone and then released series 6... and IF that was the plan, I'd pre-order this special for release day purchase.

But they lose a sale on it while I wait to see what happens the whole year.
