Friend lost everything, any help would be more than appreciated

I'm sad to say that one of my close friends lost his house and everything he owned and cared about, mainly his dog, in a fire earlier today. I know this might be asking a lot seeing no one here knows this person, but even if one person donated something it would go a long way.
