To buy/watch only blu, no dvd (which I've been doing for quite some time already, at least for buying). To buy more blus (preferably 1 a week, realistically probably not as often). To reach 100 soon, and 200 by year's end. To buy mostly only blus with slipcovers, steelbooks, combo packs or similar. To buy a lot more boxed sets, collectors editions, steels, etc. And to start buying rare blus and imports.

I am a new collector so I ll try to increase my number of BDs. I already ordered 4 for this month. But I would not buy BDs blindly. I believe in Quality rather than quantity and I dont like to say this but there are not much great titles available!

I will no longer buy them around release date, I will wait for them to drop in price after a few months. I will pay no more than $20 (3D's excluded)

I should probably cut back on my buys... I used to have a $15 level that I'd wait for almost all Blu-rays to come down to but now it's $10-$12 for catalog titles and I'll occasionally go up to $18 for new releases.

My major resolution though is to watch a movie a day if possible. So far so good, at least one, and a few days so far I've watched 2. I've got almost 200 movies in my collection that honestly, I haven't even watched yet (most I've seen before but haven't seen the Blu-ray version yet but also a good number that were blind buys).

to get all the disney tittles out on blu ray... i would say buy only blu's and no dvds but i still have 1 or 2 seasons of the simpsons that are only on dvd

Mine is to keep being selective of the movies I buy. There's too much crap out there.

yeah too much shit on some blus so i'm staying away from crappy movies.

I have an itch to start paying more attention to the AFI Top 100.

I'm not going to buy anything I don't want just because it's on a list but if the price is right and I'm on the fence I'll be leaning toward picking it up.
