Here is a link with the US cover art:http://www.snitchseeker.com/harry-po...-2011-a-79519/ The US blu-ray has the UK DVD cover, and the UK Blu-ray has the US DVD cover. Funny how they did the opposite of each other.

Of note is the fact that in the US the DVD will only come in a 1 disc version with only the deleted scenes. There will be no 2 disc dvd with special features. While the UK will get a 2 disc special edition DVD with the special features. The only way to get the special features (other than the deleted scenes) in the US is if you have a blu-ray player. I bet there will be some upset people over that.

Not too many, I imagine. If Inception can do over 60% on the week it's released, I'm sure Harry Potter can do similarly.

Where's the "collector's" edition or whatever though? The big release of it that they started with the earliest films like last year. Will they really not bother releasing the special edition of the seventh movie until they release the other ones first? Are they really so terrible as to invite people to buy this edition when there is a better edition on the horizon?

I'm waiting until the series is done myself. I'll pick up all 8 in their individual "collector's" editions or hopefully they'll just release a giant boxset with all 8 films and all special features and extras. But hopefully, that giant boxset will be something that will fit on my shelf, and not something like that castle case they've got in France or whatever.

Afro,

I do wonder if they'll release a boxset of the Ultimate Editions but in a much smaller box that contains all the disc instead of how they're released right now.

The content of the boxset probably won't changed. But, you did hit at something they might do.

It doesn't really make much sense to create an outer shell box for the Ultimate Editions as they are now. That thing would be huge sitting on anyone's shelf.

Maybe make them digibooks like 300, Exorcist & The Matrix etc? Keeping most of the sets the same but smaller.

Wonder if it would be better to wait for a 2-pack of both parts.

Waiting for the whole big box of the series.

Though I just saw this movie at the cheap show, it's the Fellowship of the Rings of the series, lots-o-walkin'
