Starz might be a good fit too... they are trying to jump into the waters of original programming with their joint venture with the BBC on the next series of Torchwood.

If Gaiman is involved... I would love a Sandman series on a cable network. There were some really good stories... and most of it is disconnected from the greater DC universe... so with a minor tweak to the original story of how Dream gets back his stuff, this has a lot of potential.

Gaiman could even sneak some new stories in there along the way if he wanted to keep people guessing who have already read the comics.
