Default HDMI Switcher Question.

I ran out of HDMI inputs on my Onkyo-805 reciever. I just need 1 more input. Would this switcher do the trick. Im not sure if this swicther would work with all of the audio codecs (TRUE HD, DD 5.1, DD 5.1 +, etc) through the HDMI cable.

It shoud work.

I bought this same switcher when it was close to $30 and never used it because my Sony 34XBR800 would not work with my PS3 through HDMI to DVI....long story........it's in the closet now and maybe I can use it again someday.........

I use the same exact switcher with no problems.

Same here. I got it used on Ebay shipped for $9. It does an excellent job. I am using it as an extender though and not as an extra input. I needed it because I'm using a front projector mounted on the ceiling and I had a choice to make whether or not to get a very long HDMI cable or two shorter ones used with a switch, so I opted for the latter option.
