I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Partly because I understand the pain that some of the HD DVD fans are going through. We had our first US anime blu-ray announced recently only to have it retracted 24 hours later. Seeing something you want get listed (even worse for anime fans, hve dates and prices!) only to have it disappear isn't fun.

But really, anyone who lived through the first years of DVD saw the writing on the wall with this one. Spielberg just doesn't let his titles be launch fodder. They require it to sell certain numbers or else there's a loss of face for lack of a better phrasing.

Or, the recent key hacks has Spielberg thinking: "Not until it is shown to be safe, or I can sell a ton".
