Well, they do have a 8 inch 60 watt sub in black. Also, I noticed the connection in the back. I doesn't have the connection to the receiver or am I missing something:

talking about the Line in? I noticed that myself I wonder how that would work out since most receivers have a single RCA for the subwoofer.

Usually the left line in acts as the LFE port if theres not a dedicated one. Cant wait for impressions!

I guess you can use the L as the input like it was said above but seems wasteful with the connections..

why couldn't you use an rca splitter (y cable) to plug a single rca cable into the left/right inputs on the back of the sub?

when i had my infinity 12" sub it had a left/right input. i just used a y cable to connect it to the rca from the receiver. although i used a much higher quality one than the one i posted; i just did that for a pic reference.

they're basically the same thing anyway.

the one i posted just has cables where the one you posted doesn't.

they both do the same job.

I also have an AA HD-SUB12 that I bought about a year ago. It does look very similar to mine, but mine has a phase switch, and the speaker level inputs are near the bottom, instead of on the top left.

I used my AA sub for a few days just running direct to the left input. When I added a splitter, I didn't think it would really make much of a difference, but it did. I don't really know why, but it gave it a much hotter input signal. I had to turn it down quite a bit, which is a good thing.

I would really like to hear a review of that 12" Monoprice sub. For that amazing price, it's a very nice looking sub!

Yeah, but my amp looks identical, no joke! here's a picture of the back of my hd-sub12.

And again the Monoprice subs back for comparison..
