I'm currently considering upgrading to the HX929 and would like to get the 65" but not for $3500K more than the 55" version.
rdodolak,

I told Hillside that I had 2 weeks to make up my mind about whether or not I am getting the 46 inch NX800. Well as of last night that decsion has changed and it boiled down to 2 things. One was what you said about issues with black levels and uniformity (which my current tv does not suffer from) and two I had a nice chat with a person that works with Home Theater magazine. He said the exact same things you did and said if I were to go the LED route then to go full array and skip edge lit sets. He also gave high praise for my current tv which (may not mean much to some) got a Home Theater Top pick. So that being said I have made up my mind to stay with my current set for as long as it holds out and spend my money on a good quality AV Reciever and speakers to round out my home theater experience which to be honest to get the best from my tv this is what it needs. Maybe I will even throw in an Oppo Blu ray player in the mix as well.
