I know it's not local, I've just been reading catalogues for Black Friday... damn, I would go nuts if I lived in the US!

Is Amazon pretty much the only BF option for us? Do any other online stores ship here for a decent price?

I've never bought anything in BF before, so I'm very excited for my first haha. I've started a wish list.

Just checked the Walmart catalogue, Blu-rays at $5, games like Battlefield 3, and Arkham City for $28.

Boxing Day sales are nothing compared to Black Friday...

Sanity was having a 3 for $40 sale when I went past a store last week. I don't know if it's still on now though.

Well according to this, I won't be buying anything from Amazon for Black Friday afterall.

DAMMIT!!!! I really thought there would be way more titles than this after seeing catalogues for US retail stores. Really wanted to pick up some recent releases. Nothing here on this list is a must-have. Not worth the postage.

Yeah but the Pulp Fiction in the set is most likely just going to be the same 1080i version we've got here in Australia now. Though it still does look good in 1080i.

No, this thread hasn't been moved because so far its been focused on what is described in the title 'local'.

If it starts focusing more on international deals, then it will most probably be moved to the bargains subforum, and re-titled to 'Local & International BD Bargains'.

Just a heads-up to stay on topic.

Agreed. Besides people, if Black Friday info is what you're after there's an entire sub-forum devoted to it:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/black-friday/

Basically if you can't find a deal there it hasn't been announced yet!

As for the Sanity 3 for $40, it's also available online with free shipping: http://www.sanity.com.au/specials/73...so=Recommended

Don't do it! Search your feelings! You know you want to wait until the inevitable blu-ray release of the 'untouched' editions!

After sitting through twenty minutes of the interminable Alpha and Omega, I highly doubt this is a mistake.
