Please don't forget him in Schindler's List!!!!! This was what proved he was an amazing actor. Though, Taken proved that he was ultra-kickass and that he could be an action movie star.

Well the A-Team director (Joe Carnahan) is the director for the Grey as well so we'll see how this goes. My expectations won't get the best of me nor ruin the film. I've always been a fan of Neeson as well as survival films so we'll see. I'll go in with an open mind, but I'll probably wait until it is available to rent.

Definitely! he was great in Schindler's List! The director being the same is kind of why I'm skeptical but the trailer doesn't feel anything similar in terms of vibe which is a good thing. I know I'll watch it on blu for sure.

No one's interested in seeing The Grey? It's a surprisingly good mix of art and mainstream, it's poetic, and it's very old school.

I really liked the movie but again Im really sick of shaky cam action. When the wolves attacked it was difficult to see what the frig was going on.

Other then that it was an intense survival thriller about the brutality of the natural world. Not a feel good movie but as far as survival thrillers go few get this intense. If not for the damn shaky cam I would consider it a great movie. As it stands its still a good one

For a January release, I really wasn't expecting much but Neeson attracted me to so I went on a whim. Holy hell this film was amazing. The entire thing was paced incredibly, with all of the 7 survivors fairly fleshed out, with Neeson's character, Ottway, having the most info known about him. The film progressed as a survival tale with just SO much more, and it was just fantastic. I also loved the ending. While being ambiguous, it had a sense of closure and I thought it was perfect. I know its early to say but I can see this being in my top 10 at the end of the year.

10/10

Man, I lost it and started tearing up when he was alone, on his knees, and spreading the wallets out and looking at the pictures of those who’d fallen with their kids. I kept thinking the themes in the script really had to of played to the loss of Liam’s wife years ago.

Overall, I really loved the film and this is definitely an early candidate for best of the year for me. There’s only two films in the last couple of years that have really drawn me into this that effected me the way this film has and they were Blue Valentine and District 9. The animatronics were amazing and the wolves were creepy as hell. Probably the best on screen howl (the alpha) since An American Werewolf in London…

Really hope the studio is smart and gives this a proper fall re-release to prepare it for an awards run because I think this could definitely land Liam in Best Actor and maybe, possibly, a Best Picture nomination.
