Actually the early pressings of the movie do not have that track. I had to send mine to Lionsgate for a fixed version.

Hmm...well I just bought it yesterday so I'll open it and check it out. If it's not there I'll just exchange it for another one. Was there a UPC change on the package?

I opted to just keep mine. I watch with subs enough, and well, Goa'uld all speak english anyway.

Really? Interesting.

I just watched my copy and the subtitles are there. People may be thrown off because it only shows up when there is a conversation or words that can't be understood by gestures. When the guards say something and gesture for Daniel to stand in a certain spot don't need subtitles. But the conversation between Ra and Daniel require them because that convo is essential to the plot.

it's just the nature of the beast with that movie. believe it or not, i also have the movie on vhs, and even the grainy portions of the movie look better than the same sections on vhs. still grainy, but that's the way the movie was made
