haha, I guess that's understandable. I still like it though

Yea, believe me, I can understand why some like it. I'm not a Zombie hater. I thought The Devil's Rejects was a huge surprise when I first saw that when it came out on DVD. I love that movie. I just don't like his style when it comes to the Halloween universe.

Devil's Rejects is just amazing lol. But that's a totally different topic all together so I wont get into how much I love it

but yet IMO I feel his Halloween's were a million times better than the likes of Resurrection.
I still liked Resurrection for its insane stupidity and all, but yet the movie had its quirks and charms that just got to me lol.
I will be picking this up sooner or later, in fact it will probably be in my hands come October.

Worst Halloween movie ever. The completist in me is glad that it was included on the Canadian Triple Feature, since I can have it for collection purposes without feeling guilty for buying something I will never, ever watch again as long as I live. So I own it on BD, but have a valid excuse...I bought the Triple Feature for H6 and H20.

I wouldn't buy this upcoming release if Echo Bridge paid me.

Theatrical ending sucked. Received nothing but laughter in the theater.

The D-Cut also has a full narrative arc and fleshed-out character relationships. Things which the T-Cut sore lacks.

You must've hated the first scene of Carpenter's original, then.

Though I'm not gonna say any more about Zombie's entries, as I don't want to contribute to this thread devolving into the usual "Piss and Moan about the Rob Zombie Entries" festival. It doesn't require my help...every Halloween thread turns into that on its own, regardless of what film the thread itself actually pertains to.

I'm a huge fan of Zombie's H2. It's actually one of my favorite sequels, and I like it much better than Zombie's previous effort. And I agree that the theatrical cut is the better cut.

I enjoy Resurrection. It's not my favorite, but I didn't find it to be terrible at all. Will pick this one up with H20 and 6.

THIS!!!! I feel the same way and couldn't be happier.

Rob Zombi H1/H2, no thanks. Seen them, didn't care one bit. I will say that Annie's (Danielle Harris) performance was good and about the only thing that kept me sane enough to watch both of them.

Why do we unexpectedly get this release very soon (which nobody wants), yet we couldn't be pleasantly surprised with H3/H4?

Zombie's H2 is not only the worst Halloween movie, its one of the worst movie going experiences of my life, right up there with the last Indy movie. It was awful!

I'll pick this up because I love Halloween movies and it has enough enjoyable moments to make up for Busta Rhymes.

An H4/H5/H6 pack would make much more sense they can be a self-contained trilogy. H3 would be a release by itself due to not relating to the main franchise other than name and reference.

Universal was planning on releasing H3 last year with H2, but it looks like they're waiting for this fall.

As for 4/5, there seems to be some confusion over who owns the rights - either Starz/Anchor Bay or Image.

I know, she was also the ticket vendor in Spider-Man (2002). Still can't get over her face though.

Busta's character was actually supposed to die when we first see The Shape knock him out earlier, I believe his comeback was part of the re-shoots, and unfortunately the producers re-shot themselves in the head by doing so.

Except that Anchor Bay has the distribution rights to H4 and H5, and Miramax has loaned the distribution rights to H6 to Echo Bridge.

Anchor Bay/Starz still has H1, H4, and H5. They gave up their New World catalog, but their deal with Trancas is still in place.

To each their own. I personally liked it, and so did the audience of the theater I was in.
