The only thing I don't like about the combo pack for the the two Rescuers movies is that I have all the Disney animated features (no direct to video) lined up on a shelf chronologically and a combo pack just messes me all up.
I actually replaced my Fantasia combo pack with seperate Italian releases for this reason. Hopefully I'll be able to get seperate releases for the Rescuers films as well. Last edited by mmcvey; 01-25-2012 at 01:55 PM. Reason: typo |

I loved both Rescuers movies, which were both released theatrically if I recall correctly. The sequel definitely kept the quality of an original release. I couldn't care less for the other sequels. And although I'm glad Aladdin is finally slated for release, I'm disappointed that it's so far off.

![]() so you're assuming the Little Mermaid will make its debut on BD (at least) 18 months after its theatrical run? it doesn't make sense, from a business' standpoint |

I'm glad to get confirmation of Aladdin and VERY pleasantly surprised to see it back in the Diamond Collection series, even if I do wish they'd scheduled it for this year.
I'm not a fan of the other films confirmed, which to me vary from 'meh' (The Rescuers) to true dislike (Aristocats). However, I've yet to watch The Rescuers Down Under again to form an opinion. Didn't see many times when I was a kid. Gotta say, my only disappointment with this list of titles is the lack of Mulan in the foreseeable future. Hopefully 2013 will see it (and perhaps The Emperor's New Groove too?) released at some point. |

I'll admit it. I much prefer Rescuers Down Under to The Rescuers. I also prefer Pocahontas to Pocahontas II. However, it can't be bad thing to get both in one convenient package. Now, what's the bet that Disney ends up delaying some of these like they did with Dumbo?

Sweet Aladdin! I hope they also release the sequels as well.
Wonder when The Little Mermaid will come out, it comes out in 3d in theaters Sept. 2013 (I believe). So, hopefully around there. Last edited by punkguy03; 01-25-2012 at 02:14 PM. |

Pocahontas should have a stand alone release, just like The Fox and the Hound...it's an insult to these 2 movies that are considered classics. If they have to do these they should have it as a bonus feature and not put it in the cover. imho
Just like the Lion King sequels, they're separate... |

Every single Diamond Edition has had seperate releases and my assumption would be they will all have a individual release.

would make sense for it to be the winter 2013 BR release months after the cinema release, like they did with The Lion King |
