I didn't see the Oceans set, but the TMNT was a good one to see (and buy). I don't think it could have been done better. I didn't want that pizza box edition, and I already had TMNT.

Can someone please post the disc art/box art to this new release?? I really want to see the disc art. I hope it is not the same as the pizza box art, where the blu-ray discs look like pizzas. I think it looks a bit silly.

Thanks

I also already have TMNT, so to see this release and at $15 too boot, it seems like a good deal to me. Even if they come out with a special edition of the first turtles movie with extras like commentary and deleted scenes, this new boxset is still a good deal.

Photos of the disc art were posted up before the crash. Unfortunately for you the disc art is the same as the previous boxset, they still look like pizzas.

Thanks for the quick reply. Having the disc art still as pizzas is not a deal breaker for me at this price. I will still be picking this up when I get a chance to at the end of the month. I am just happy to get the original Trilogy in a box set and at this price.

I don't know why this is written as a walmart exclusive. Unless I'm wrong I don't think WM has any exclusive rights to this. I'm positive it'll show up at other retailers shortly.

Price isn't that bad considering that they most likely end up paying a small amount of taxes on top of the $14.99 price. However, did you see the price for the original collection; $9,999.99?

Ha yeah, apparently that site puts that as the price sometimes when the item is unavailable.

Wonder what they'd do if some mega rich person decided they'd go for it.

I was on the fence about it for a long time, and came close to buying it more than once. In the end, I didn't want to pay a lot for a substandard box and almost no extras.

It's the only store that is selling it and it's not listed on Amazon's site. So it definitely is an exclusive to Walmart. Just like the Superman Triple Feature that is a Target exclusive.

NEED HELP from people who are good at this:

The official listing on here says the aspect ratio for the set is both 2.4 and 1.78. I THINK this is because, in the original pizza box, TMNT (2007) was 2.4. IMDb lists the original 3 as all being 1.85, which I assume all got slightly modified to 1.78 for this release.

Can anyone confirm not only that these are in "regular" widescreen (not scope) but also that they are 1.78 and not 1.85??

The first is 1.78...the second is 1.85...third is 1.78.
