It is not a lot, but since there are a lot of releases etc. it might be usefull.

Thing is though, if you used that site + the code you'd get something like 15% off though. so if anybody would be ok to share their code, i would be grateful

They can't share the code as each was individual to the particular student and linked to that persons account.

This is based upon my recollection of the scheme when I was eligible in he early 2000s, no reason to think it changed. HMV were always very slack with taking off a person's online account as mine lasted for a year after I ceased to be eligible. It did not work past expiry instore as the physical cards had a year expiry date and you had to have the relevant student id card as well which was checked by staff in my local store each time you made a purchase.

They point blanked refused to do this for me on monday morning after keeping me on hold for 15 mins talking to the supervisor

Not happy as the money saved by using the 20% discount code as now been wasted on phone calls !

Just been on the phone and give them both barrels and they have now given me the steelbook for £12.80 + a goodwill gesture of a £5 e voucher for my troubles ! ..... happy bunny again now lol !

Just a word of warning. There are thieves at HMV returns depot. Mine got stolen but after a bit of haggling I got a refund.

It was dented but not by much. Still worth £15 on ebay though to a thief.

Email I got from HMV What's the point in pre-ordering in March if you're not guaranteed a copy? When they recalled the steels did they just destroy them all or lose them?
