Does anybody have the DVDs?
How do you like the show? Would you recommend them as a blind buy? The action looks kinda cheesy but Garner looks really hot in this trailer.

Should I buy it?

Alias Season 2 DVD Trailer - YouTube

It's one of my favorite shows, but everyone has their own opinion.

I've seen an episode or two and kinda liked it. Are there gadgets in every episode? I'm thinking of buying the complete set but people say only the first two seasons are good. Is that true?

Btw, I made this poll related to Alias:
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=199269

Alias was one of my favorite shows, I own the first two seasons which are really good.

The entire set was under £18 in the UK recently but it passed me by. I have season 1 on DVD but haven't got round to it. I think I've only seen the pilot episode. I think I might grab it next time it's on sale!

I have the complete series on DVD (the Rambaldi collector's set), and I think it's great. It's one of the few TV series that I could actually get into. There's enough action, humour, to make it very enjoyable, and the whole long-reaching Rambaldi story arc is very cool. Yes, there are one or two scenes where you have to suspend disbelief, but overall it's very entertaining. And Jennifer Garner in episode two's blue rubber dress is very yummy!

I enjoy this show from start to finish. I started watching 24 back in the day and stop after one season. Alias as action but it's also more fantasy and more thinking than 24 was with just action and Jack Bauer beating up some dude I got the Rambaldi collector's set some years ago, word of warning the packagin is a bit bad on that one, you really need to be careful with it. The show itself is a A++++++++

What's the bonus disc like in this set ? I collected the originals so this was a set too far just for one disc.

Amazing show, unfortunately I own the Rambaldi box set. I really should have bought them separately.

The one I have is the one that scuffs & scratches the discs. I heard there's a re-issue version with plastic slips, but since I returned & re-ordered 3 times a few years ago, I didn't feel like doing it again.

Love Alias. First 2 1/2 seasons are great. Takes a dip last part of 3rd season, then it takes a roller coaster ride after that. It's great then not-so-great, up and down. Abrams Concentrated on Lost after the second season and the show did suffer, just like Lost suffered after the first 2 seasons. He seems to get things off to a great start then moves on to new projects and lets things fall apart. Garner has her first kid in season 4 or 5 and you lose her for half a season. The fill-ins were not bad. Melissa George was good in the 3rd season. Had a good ending in my opinion. I would say you can problebly buy it pretty cheap by now and well worth a blind buy.

Pretty much agree. It is one of my favourite all time shows.
I was a huge fan. I meet a few members of the cast (Melissa being one of them) and got my season 2 and 3 box sets signed. I also collected the cards and have a full season 2 cards and folder.

Nearly every episode ended on a great cliffhanger and while it did lose its way later on it had a great ending in my opinion.

I got a flyer in the mail from Disney about a week ago, all TV DVD boxsets were 1/2 off, the individual seasons were $10 & the boxset was $77. I'm pretty sure it was for DMC members only though

OP, if still interested, the boxsets are 50% off. You have to be a Disney Movie Club member but if you aren't you should take advantage. I see you don't have any animated movies but you don't have to pick any to join.
