Movies are probably small enough to fit both on one disc...At least that would be my guess.

I think they're 72 min. & 73 min. respectively for a total of 145 min.

I didn't get it on DVD but I sure will get it on Blu-Ray. My brother got them, said the first one is better than the second one but they're both worth getting. I heard Iron Man is a waste, but Dr. Strange has piqued my interest.

Default Wow!

I have never seen the Ultimate Avengers 1 or 2 before today. I figured I would try it out...and WOW! I really liked the Ultimate Avengers Collection! The 1080p PQ and 7.1 sound was great! The 7.1 LPCM track on in the first Ultimate Avengers was lacking on the bass end of things, but Ultimate Avengers 2 soundtrack was amazing!

I think I know why some people said the second Ultimate Avengers sucked. It's because the second one actually was 70% drama and 30% action (plus the Hulk didn't have much of an appearance in this one). Some people can't handle drama in live action comics. I can enjoy drama and action in titles. I guess that comes from watching Anime. Personally, I enjoyed both titles.

At first, I talked about how badly I was raped on the $34.99 purchase from Best Buy. Now, I say it was definitely worth it! If you like comics or animation, I would say pick this one up!

Sweet. I didn't realize it had a 7.1 LPCM track. That's quality. Do you have speakers that take advantage of this? I hope more and more movies come with the 7.1 rather than 5.1 currently shipping.

I liked them both both a lot. And Dr. Strange looks like it's going to be sick! Is that Ghost in the Shell English dubbed? I remember the DVD wasn't.

No, the BD is subbed only. But unfortunately it's the only other 2D animated title accessable to the English speaking market. I don't intend buying it only because it's so expensive to import ~$65.

I sure do! I hope movie titles come with 7.1 sound too. I only have two, but they are some of my most priced BDs.

I went with the super-saver shipping from amazon and still got it the day after it came out....

I watched the 1st one again...I liked it and the 2nd one wasn't bad...but could have used more action...

by putting these both on one disc...BD is merely just flexing right now..

No, that's not why we said it sucks. It sucks because it's a piss poorly encoded/animated title, oh but the script sucks too (but that's just besides the point).

You only think it's good because it's the first example of 2D 1080p HD animation you've seen so far. Go buy Ghost in the Shell: Innocense and you'll see the huge difference in what a good quality animated title can make.

Poorly encoded...explain. Tell me what you didn't like about the script.

As far as GiTS: Innocence is concerned, it is my other 7.1 LPCM title in my collection. Didn't I say I watch Anime? I also have GiTS: Innocence on DVD and the first GiTS movie and GiTS: Stand Alone Complex series.

Could the animation have been better? Yes. Could it have been better considering their budget? Doubtful. You have to understand that Anime movies get played in theaters when they come out in Japan. They usually have much bigger budgets to work with. You don't get those types of budgets in the US for animation features. That is one reason why they come out directly on home video. That is why I appreciate the animation for what it is in the US. I will continue to enjoy this title and present it to others. It's too bad you can't enjoy this BD title like I can.
