Problems playing a blu! Help please!

Take the disc to a Best Buy and test it out on their BD players and PS3. See if you can get it to play there.

I had that planned, I just won't be able to get down to the closest one for a week or two and my wife is dying to see this darned movie....it will be the first blu movie she wants to sit through (that I own anyway).

It might be a HD DVD instead of a DVD/BD. Look for marks on the data side and compare it with BDs/DVDs. Take photos/videos and post 'em up.

It's not the PS3 (kind of obvious by you being able to play all your other Blu-ray discs). I had this happen to me. Take it back, again. There is something about that batch of discs or the way it was encoded. Even the one I have, now, gives me a little fight before playing (the 1st movie in the series).

Hmm. Good to know.

OP: You might wanna call up Warner and see if they have any disc exchange programs for that first disc.

This has been going on since early December. I had ordered directly from Warner and they finally got me out a replacement (which doesn't work either - the subject of the thread). That's why I can't simply take it back. It's been one of the most frustrating online order experiences I've ever been through.
