Also, for the E.T. fans (like me!), the spaceship edition is in-store at JB, too. It's pricey at $150, but I'm tempted...

Holy hell. It was going for half that on Amazon US a fortnight ago. For $150 it would want to fly.

New titles must keep being added to the 2 for $30. I noticed 'Young Adult', 'Martha Marcy May Marlene' and ' Shame' are now in there. Been waiting for these to come down from the $40 mark for a while now!

My JB wouldn't price match the E.T. with plus to Big w's price...
I think i am just going to order from bigw online, like to pick up in person though and choose a good condition set.
But i guess if it comes damaged ill just take it into Bigw.

JB price matched Hugo for me yesterday triple play for $19.87 as per Big w online, when JB instore had it marked as $47, but that was a different person who served me

mmmm Chadstone is where I went this morning... in the shopping centre?

Mind you doesn't really matter as I have already placed an order with bigw online now, can't be bothered going back to JB for it now.
Annoying how sometimes they do it and other times they don't.

Yep, that's the one. I was surprised they did it without any fuss.

What was their reasoning behind not price matching?

The same happened to my local Big W. The used to only have a small selection under the TV showcasing BDs, but now they have that and a whole aisle to itself.

As for the price-matching thing with JB, I usually just buy from Big W directly. Too much trouble testing my luck with their employees!

10% off everything at EzyDVD today! Haven't checked it out yet, just got an email so I'm not sure if they raised prices before taking the percentage off.

Also, thanks for the heads up about Shame being in the 2 for 30, have been waiting forever for that one.
