I force throw it around the room.. I don't know, I think I made the mistake of turning the back (so the back lay on top) instead of putting the "pages" back again (so they are lying on the rear end of the set) after watching the last disc in the set. Of course when I noticed the pages were falling apart I noticed I shouldn't have done that

Looks like we could be getting the UOT courtsey of Disney

As well as Episode 7 in 2015 with 8 and 9 to follow.

I don't know if I want to cry because I'm sad or incredibly happy.

I see this as good news it means we could possibly be getting the original theatrical films on blu.

Oh i'm just gonna answer my own question:http://www.slashfilm.com/disney-buys...ars-film-2015/

This will be interesting... I think? I dont know what to say...
At least we all know how *perfect* Disney UK is at makin' Blu Rays so we have nothing to fear here!

...Right?

Hopefully if this means more Star Wars films, Mr Lucas will stay the hell away! Let some new blood into the franchise!!

This makes my blu ray box set obsolete, I have just thrown it in the trash bin.

The ultimate question is: Which style will these sequels follow? The prequels or the originals?

I want the old school style back, but since it's Disney they'll probably pick the more kid friendly version

I feel sorry for everyone that bought the 6 movies on blu-ray now, as they now have an incomplete set.

Bet ya $50 that episodes 7, 8, and 9 will go straight to the format that comes after blu-ray...

I'm just completely gutted I don't have a film that's 3 years away and can watch the shit out of the current ones in HD.

Absolutely gutted.

Old Lucas sounds like he just doesn't give a crap any more.

I wish him well.

But it will exist, and you'll have an incomplete set on blu-ray, as 7, 8 and 9 will most likely not be released on blu-ray, and will instead be benchmarks for the next format.

I'm not fussed. I only really care about the original trilogy and even that's pushing it, these days.

I only bought the Saga set for the extras, which were a load of wank anyway.

My Star Wars erection died a very, very long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away...

Well floppy discs were all the rage in 1983....

If the House of Mouse gets into gear and restores negatives of the theatricals, I'm all for it. Although I feel George will be sending them off into space.

Good luck paying NASA with Disneyland Paris money George....

Oh, didn't you hear the news? The original negatives are going to be sealed into George Lucas's tomb with him when he dies, which will be made out of solid Carbonite.

I'll take you up on that bet. I doubt that very much, especially for episode 7, since the beginning of 2015 is only just over 2 years away. 4k technology is the format coming next, which is going to be incorporated into blu-ray technology and branch off from it much like the 3d blu-ray format.

Although when it's back in stock, the price will no doubt go up as you can't actually order it at that price, just be notified when it is back in stock
