Florida St. is ranked #5 and #6 in the human polls but still #10 in the BCS. Seems unlikely they can get into the championship game even if they crush Florida and their ACC title game opponent.

Alabama over Auburn by 31
Penn St. over Wisconsin by 3
Stanford over UCLA by 1.5
Oregon over Oregon St. by 10.5
Georgia over Georgia Tech by 13
Ogio St. over Michigan by 5.5
LSU over Arkansas by 12.5

And the big one - Notre Dame over USC by 9. I still don't get the spread being this high even with Barkley out. I'd take the under all day.

Miami has self-imposed a bowl ban for the second straight year and as a result 6-5 Georgia Tech (who still has to play Georgia) will play Florida State in the ACC title game. If Miami wins at Duke on Saturday they would have played in the ACC title game.

I know it's unlikely, but it would be awesome if GT could knock off 2 Top 10 BCS teams in the last 2 weeks. And sadly, I think a 2 loss FSU would have a better chance at BCS than a 1 loss Clemson.

I just don't see how they can justify the $50 million to the taxpayers. Maryland isn't one of the few Athletic Departments running in the black.

Because they will more from the Big Ten network that it will supposedly make up for it in a few years.

Supposedly Maryland believes they can get the exit fee cut by half and possibly more. There will likely be a legal battle between Maryland and the ACC because the ACC believes the exit fee is binding with no loopholes. Regardless of what the fee ends up being it's unlikely Maryland will be the one paying the exit fee. It's more likely that the Big 10 will pay the fee and then deduct whatever they pay from Maryland's future conference revenue.

Everything I've heard is umd makes about 16 million from the acc big ten could be 30 and above... Still wouldn't e worth it (for me at least)

Rumor is Penn St. has been wanting to join the ACC and leave the Big 10. They think they can help bring ND in fulltime. Then add that powerhouse of UCONN. Time will tell.

Clemson, NC, NC State, Vtech, Miami, at their best could compete with the above, maybe not in history, but theirs no reason in 10 years people couldn't be talking about the ACC teams being the elite in football.
