Can't wait to see the original cut. I loved this documentary so much, I've adored the "Bad" album for years so to finally see it get its due in the form of this documentary was just terrific. Now, give the US an uncut Blu-ray of "Moonwalker" and we're solid

Saw most of this on Thanksgiving. Missed a good half hour of it. But I'd definitely be interested in getting it on Blu-ray. At first I was thinking why are these guys mentioning steelbooks, but I'd definitely like a digibook for it.

If & when this gets picked up, it will definately be a first day buy for me. Bad was such an incredible album and I cannot wait to watch the Bad Concert in glorious Blu.

I don't think that will ever happen, the concert is available now on DVD but as it was sourced from M.J's own VHS there lies the problem with it ever being on Blu-ray.

Has anyone heard any news regarding a release date? It's been stated that it will be released February but we're already half way through January and still no new information.

No news as yet, let's just hope Feb stay's true although the longer wait without any word makes it seem it may be postponed.

Well February has come and gone. April is here and still no word on a release date. Should we be getting worried?

I was able to see the full documentary at a special screening and it's awesome. This NEEDS a Blu-ray release!

It was officially delayed: http://www.michaeljackson.com/us/node/1294481

Quote:
According to Spike Lee's '40 Acres' web admin the release date has been pushed back. The Bad 25 DVD will not be released in February 2013. Fans are asked to 'stay tuned' and check back on the site for an update. This information was obtained from an email response to a MJ fan who had sent an inquiry about the release on the 40 acres.com site. Nothing else was divulged.

Sorry for the disappointing news.

Everything MJ ever released was delayed so at least that trend has continued,I am looking forward to this release and it will be a day one purchase.

Looking over at Spike Lee's webiste, it lists the home video release as "this summer."

Keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't get delayed again.

Yeah, I don't understand why Moonwalker hasn't been released on DVD or BluRay in the USA. It has been released on both in many countries around the world. Even Netflix has the DVD that you can rent despite it not being released in the USA. The DVD Netflix rents out is from another country.
