It's a very good film. I would love to see a remastered version featuring a commentary track by Redford and new interviews with Donald Sutherland (amazing that he was not nominated for an Oscar), Timothy Hutton, Judd Hirsch, and Mary Tyler Moore. I don't know how plausible a gallery of new interviews would be, but Redford has done commentary tracks before, so I don't know why he wouldn't be willing to discuss his most acclaimed directorial effort. (Apparently, Redford recorded a commentary track for The Candidate some years ago; and yet here we are, still waiting for an SE version of that film to surface).
