Boy this is tough as there are comedy movies I like more than others which I think are funnier. Like ghostbusters. I dont' lmao when I watch it, but I freakin love that movie.

Funniest Movies for me (in no particular order) would be:

Knocked Up
Superbad
40 Yr Old Virgin
Super Troopers
Anchorman
Best in Show

Honorable mention to Serendipity for a great Eugene Levy character as well. Heck, honorable mention to any movie with Eugene Levy in it.

There's just way too many to list,
but the most recent one would be Superbad.

Personally, Arrested Development made me laugh until my chest was hurting and I had coughing fits.

Movie wise, Mallrats would be my fav comedy.

Due to a clerical error, someone on another board published a Danny Kaye obit (a bit late)--

Which did, however, spark an entire thread about just why "The Court Jester" is one of the funniest movies ever made.

Yea verily yea!

All together now:

The vessel with the pestle has the pellet with the poison
The chalice from the palace etc .....

But seriously, I wish to add A Fish Called Wanda.

The Naked Gun. When Drebin was on a window ledge and broke off a large stone Penis from a statue... then proceeded to crash through an apt window breathing heavily holding the thing at a woman in her bra - OMG! The whole theater was laughing so hard that tears were coming out of our eyes! I have never seen an audience affected that much by comedy ever! A Classic!
