Good look Frightener...damn good price. I see April Fool's Day has been added to the database, it has also been available on iTunes in HD for a little bit. I am guessing a blu-ray release it going to be announced shortly.

People add Blu-rays they wish would get a release all the time, it doesn't mean anything.

It's an insane deal and definitely worth picking up as these films all look like a ton of fun.

I cringe everytime I see this set! I love a ll four of those films and wish they'd get BD releases so bad. Particularly "Cyclone" and "Exterminator 2". I'm sure the dvd will look fine though, I'll just be passing on them.

Cliff, What are the chances on a blu-ray release of "Pumpkinhead" and "Squirm" from Scream Factory?
I hope they can get "Prom Night II" from MGM, its a great movie in the vein of Carrie, just funnier.

Thanks.... And I didn't cram four movies onto one DVD!
And there is an entertaining commentary on E2 with Mario Van Peebles and co-director Mark Buntzman.

Not everything is going to make it to Blu-ray. Only one film has an HD master. I can't do an HD transfer on a movie like Cyclone. We'd lose our shirt on it.

I totally understand. I don't expect everything on blu-ray, and I don't blame you guys for not getting them onto blu-ray, because you've done more than I expected with other films. I get it. I was just saying I liked those movies and it would have been nice to see them on blu-ray.

The fans need to give thanks for all that you HAVE done, and not complain about what you haven't.

Also, I pre-ordered "The Vampire Lovers" and I gotta say it looks like its gonna be awesome. I love hammer films and have been waiting for a really great release of this one. The original artwork looks fantastic. Were the extras confirmed yet though?

I often said the poster for The Vampire Lovers is a goddamn lie since nothing like that happens in the actual film.

Because that's the way MGM and Shout inteded for the releases to be.
There are already dvds avaliable and there are no more people who would buy these dvds than already have the others, but plenty of buys would get the blu-rays because they haven't been avaliable on that format yet.

A "new member" with a random username comes in almost every thread and repeats what someone else posts. Not you, the other.

I'm really excited to pick up the DVD collection. While some may not be the biggest fans of these sets, I've always appreciated them. The "Sword & Sorcery" set along with the "Vampires, Mummies & Monsters" collection are an absolute blast to watch. For those lesser appreciated flicks that would have a hard time selling on their own regardless of any format, these compilation sets are a great add to any cult lovers collection. The package art on them is fun, you're getting more bang for your buck, there certainly not all crammed onto 1 DVD by any means and we even get some special features from time to time. A win-win to me

No, its a spammer.

You ask the most common sense questions on here and don't seem to be able to comprehend the answers. Are you 12 or something.

It probably would never happen, but I'd love Scream Factory to release Bad Taste on Blu ray. It's one movie I'm dieing to see a Blu ray release for.
