According to my detailed financial records, I have spent $867 total on Blu-Rays since I started in early October...divide over 52 + 1 Blu-Rays (pre-orders) and that comes out to...what, $16.35 a disc. Including Planet Earth. Not bad, could be worse, I guess.

I try not to look at the totals on dvdspot...i'm addicted i just can't help myself sometimes. I've don't this with lots of different things in the past. I was really into pipes when I was in college, and at one point had 33 different pipes

I know what I've spent, but I look at it more as how much I've saved. I've averaged just under $16.50 a disc*** Still cheaper than my LD days, and on-par with the Reel.com/DVDexpress.com days.
All I can say is thank you to Amazon for their 10% discount, pre-order price guarantees (I Am Legend comes to mind) and other misc sales. fitprod *** This actually includes TV Box sets such as Nip/Tuck, Sopranos, Rescue Me and others... Last edited by fitprod; 03-15-2008 at 07:34 AM. |

Way too much, and more than my wife will ever know. In addition to my 160 titles, I also had to upgrade my receiver to the Onkyo 805, and once HDTV technology stops evolving so quickly a new TV will be in the works as well. Also, of course, the purchase of my PS3 a year and a half ago was largely based on the Blu-ray capabilities.
