this is a list of cable specs that i found in a book---


>0.74 Gbps - 576p , 50HZ , 8-bit---dvd player

>1.65 Gbps - 720p/1080i , 8-bit colour---HD set top box

>3.71 Gbps - 1080p , 50HZ , 8-bit---Bluray disc

>5.57 Gbps - 1080p , 50HZ , 12-bit---PS3.

Now all of the cheap HDMI leads may give a nice picture and audio quality BUT as you can see from the above list-the bottom lead ( which carries the 5.57GBPS signal ) looks to be the best---SO AM I RIGHT IN SAYING THAT THE CHEAP LEADS ARE NOT AS GOOD AS THE MORE EXPENSIVE ONES????
