The Amazing Spider-Man was right on the edge of top 20 for me. I really liked Garfield's take on Spidey, and really liked the movie at first. But ater repeat viewings, the Lizard as the villain really brings it down for me.

20. 21 Jump Street - I must admit I didn't find it very funny. Maybe I just expected something else, since I loved the original series.
19. The Amazing Spider-Man - Haven't seen it yet.
18. The Grey - Liked it, but not as much as many seem to do. Not in my top 40.

The Grey comes pretty closed matched with my placement with it as well. One of the few that didn't like The Hunger Games, biggest disappointment of 2012.

Yeah, sorry, I've been way busier than I thought I would be the past couple days. I'll try to get them all posted tonight, but I might have to post the last few tomorrow afternoon.

Note: I have changed my order since making my list in these ways:

#4 - #6 now goes The Master, Dredd, Argo

#10 - #15 now goes Skyfall, Flight, Contraband, Ghost Rider, The Expendables 2, Safe

#20 is now Ted (Sinister is off the list at #21 now)

That being said, here is how my original order is doing so far:

#16. Life of Pi

465 Points | Votes: 42 | Peak: 2 (2 Times)

Directed by Ang Lee
Starring: Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan, Tabu

Rotten Tomatoes: 88% | iMDb: 8.2 | Watch Trailer

"A 3D adaptation of a supposedly "unfilmable" book, Ang Lee's Life of Pi achieves the near impossible;
it's an astonishing technical achievement that's also emotionally rewarding.
" - RottenTomatoes

"It's fantastic, witty, beautiful, charming, and gripping all at once. I would have written it all off as a fine and dandy light-hearted
adventure flick, up until the end, which spins the entire story in a wholly different light.
" - Al_The_Strange

Yeah, I actually would change to put The Impossible and Dredd in my top 20, instead of having 21 Jump Street and Amazing Spiderman. But Oh well.

Would of liked to see Life of Pi in the top 10.

And here come the Best Picture Nominees. I had Life of Pi at 5, barely edging Django. I'm a sucker for a gorgeous looking film, and this one definitely is.

#15. The Master

479 Points | Votes: 29 | Peak: 1 (9 Times)

Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson
Starring: Joaquin Phoenix, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams

Rotten Tomatoes: 86% | iMDb: 7.4 | Watch Trailer

"Smart and solidly engrossing, The Master extends Paul Thomas Anderson's winning
streak of challenging films for serious audiences.
" - RottenTomatoes

"I think The Master could be looked at in the future as a film in front of it's time. It's definitely
a film that demands re-watching, and a film I'd be happy to revisit time after
time as the film seems like it'll shape very differently every time I'll view it.

17. The Hunger Games - Better than expected, but far from a top 20 movie IMO.
16. Life of Pi - Fantastic movie. #4 on my list.
15. The Master - Great movie, but not in my top 20. Phoenix was fantastic in it though.
