As much as I am a Denon-Onkyo-Marantz guy, lately I've been liking Yamaha a lot. They do sound very good with music and out of the bunch Yamaha never gets bad reviews, where as Onkyo does get some (mind you there seems to be so many out there maybe that's why) Marantz has nothing in this price class.

I own a Denon, have had it for over 6 years and it still delivers as if it was new, but if I changed avrs I would look into Marantz first and Yamaha would also get looked into, their Aventage line is solid.
