It's not a rumor, my friend works at a best buy and said they receive a letter starting that all HD-DVDs are to be pack up and ship back. Next time I talk to him, I'll see if I can get the date from him. It sounded like it was going to be real soon though.

My store has dropped ALL HD DVDs to $9.99 to get rid of them. Farewell Sale.

My BB was 50/50 until recently. I'd say it's about 80/20 now.

you want someone still pushing Blu-ray?
I should have taken a picture of last weeks flyer of the K-mart here.
Still saying HD-DVD is the Future!

I'll probably do just that soon.

I believe it, but I called it a rumor since there was no official public mention of it by Best Buy. I was covering myself in case someone came along and called BS on it. I guess I spent to much time being derided by red ants over the last months.

We have the same problem in Canada, A&B Sound still has a HD DVD running. How many will buy HD DVD players after the format is dead?

I will, but it will be a back up player. Spending too much money on BD, so it's at the bottom of my list.
