Since VHS we have been able to pause and stop a movie and pick up right where we left off. Forget about the bs excuses like you should watch a movie in one sitting. Home theater should be about the convenience first and foremost. Although I love blu-ray they really took a step back in many ways with the online features and many, many disks rebooting from the beginning as soon as you turn the player off. I can't even begin to comprehend why people defend this.
