Default New BD player...

okay should i get a panny BD-50 or the new Sharp BD50HP..? I really love sharp and it goes with my TV but the panny is 100 dollars cheaper and is 2.0...i have never had a panny before. Are they good? and does anyone know of how the load times for either of these 2 BD players are? Thanks for any help.

PS3 is the answer. I would'nt get a sharp ever. The BD50 would be my next choice.

I'm not too big into the ps3..i migth get one someday for games but it does not do DTS MA which i want. I know its coming some day but i mean...they have been saying that about in-game XBM for a while now too so i would rather get the sharp or the panny..so far its 1-0 for the panny with your vote.

My personal thought is that by the Time the Panny BD50 arrives, the PS3 will have the firmware for DTSHD-MA.... Were I to buy a standalone, I'd get the BD30, or BD50... Both should be a good choice with excellent quality. In fact I'm thinking about trying to buy someone's BD30 who is upgrading to the 50.. depends on when I get my tax return..

I would have to say PS3 also. It won't be very long before they remedy the DTS Ma stuff and it is wifi. Also it's the best bang for your buck.

Which is why I recommended it. IF No DTS HDMA was coming for the PS3, I could not recommend it for that reason alone.
