French friend needed! Help with purchasing from Amazon.fr

Hello!

I am in need of a French friend who can ship a steelbook to me to the U.S. It will be ordered via Amazon.fr to their home. Then I'll need them to slap my address on it and send it my way.

Amazon France ships internationally. It would be easier (and probably cheaper) for you to place the order with your US address and have it sent directly there, without a middleman.

Really really. I frequently order from Amazon.fr and have no issues getting my orders sent to my address in Australia. The downside for you is there is no English on the site, so you will need to navigate the checkout completely in French (if you know the language, it's no problem). I'd be happy to offer step-by-step assistance in placing your order, but highly recommend ordering to your US address.

Agreed. I use Amazon.fr often, and I'm in the U.S.

Thank you guys for your help! Too bad it's almost a week late and I couldn't get the steelbook I wanted for $23.

Hopefully they restock, although because it's a steelbook, I kind of doubt it.

I'd recommend trying other Amazon sites, because you might get lucky. Try amazon.es or amazon.it and see if they list the French version in stock (and possibly at the price you wanted); adding "francia" to the search term on either site will narrow down to any French versions. It might be you can get it there and they can ship it to you (on rare occasions I've struck it lucky by doing this).

Otherwise someone on ebay.fr might list it at a reasonable price and they may be able to ship to you (depending on if they offer worldwide shipping).

I use Google Chrome to automatically translate, although it sometimes gets the prices confused.

Thanks for that Espana/Italia tip!!! I can read spanish, and Italian is similar, so that's great.
