Yes, I would try to find a pair of speakers to buy.

I'm in the midst of designing and building my theater room, and the first thing I did was run wire for a 7.1 setup.

Thanks for the help. I can't wait to get it, now all I need is the PS3 to do DTS-HD MA, like everyone else.(that has a PS3)

When I had my home theater room built, I had it pre-wired for a 6.1 channel setup. I worked with Genesis Home Technologies, which is a local home theater specialist, and they do a ton of high end home theater installs. They handled my home theater setup and whole-house satellite and computer networking. My speakers have monopole transducers that radiate out 180 degrees, so we felt that 7.1 might be overkill in that room. The 6.1 setup works incredibly well for me, and it offers an incredibly immersive surround experience.
