I went with that at the beginning, but moved on to this. It's not quite done yet, but it's supposed to be a photo album - not a book.

I'm pretty biased as I'm the one who commissioned the cover from Nissen since it's one of my favorite movies, but I'd say yes! I was originally going to link you to the trailer but I feel like it gives too much away and you might be better off going in blind so to speak. The basic premise is that Freddy, Jason, Myers, etc all really existed as serial killers and urban legends. Now there is a young up and comer by the name of Leslie Vernon who idolized them all and is on the verge of making his own mark and legend and is allowing a small crew of film students to follow him as he does. It's a dark comedy/slasher starring Nathan Baesel (TV series Invasion), Angela Goethals (Home Alone), Robert Englund (Freddy!), Scott Wilson (the Walking Dead), and Zelda Rubnstein (Poltergeist) in her last role before her passing. There are numerous references to classic horror movies hidden within the movie and it's great seeing Robert Englund in a Dr. Loomis like role. It's definitely worth checking out and you can find it for dirt cheap on Amazon. Just be aware that the blu-ray is bare bones while the DVD has a decent amount of features.
Fun fact: Leslie Vernon and the town of Glen Echo are referenced in Hatchet 2, which isn't a very good movie but it earned brownie points from me for that. lol |

I like the "intentions", I kind of like the "look" of this series of covers you're making.
But I have a huge problem with all this blank space in the bonus features area. It's often very empty in there and it doesn't look very good to me. But the rest is very nice! So I'm looking forward to see the next ones ![]() |

ANYBODY WILLING TO HELP?
Who's willing to make some cover art for me? I need original cover art though from the actual blu-ray releases. PM me if you can do it and we can discuss payment prices. - The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - The Social Network - Step Up Revolution or is there a website with these covers already made where i could print them out? what sizes would they be? any information? if you could do it and would like to be paid for it, then PM me. but if anybody could also let me know how to do it, that'd be a great second option. Thanks. |

I do this for a lot of my custom covers, especially when the Blu-ray is bare bones. For example, the movies "Battle of Britain" and "A Bridge Too Far" are both bare bones Blu-rays so I created 3-disc sets and paired them with their respective 2-disc Collector's Edition DVDs. ![]() I also put all three of the original "Star Wars" trilogy theatrical cuts 2006 DVDs and the 2004 Bonus Materials DVD (with "The Empire of Dreams" documentary) into a 4-disc Blu-ray case to go alongside the Blu-ray release. |

Hey all!
The following is a bit of a passion project I've been working on, mostly fueled by some OCD tendencies and some general all-around annoyance. The TV show "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" was shot on SD video for its first five seasons, and although season five DID receive a Blu-ray release (which was upconverted), I highly doubt any of the first four seasons will receive this treatment. It's killing me that, because I keep DVDs and Blu-rays separated, all of the seasons of this show will never be next to each other on the shelf for me. So what I set out to do was create Blu-ray packaging for seasons 1-4, and to make it match perfectly with my own slightly-altered packaging for seasons 5-8 (and for as long as it goes on.) I will probably make the cover art next, but my first endeavor was to create slipcovers. Here is what I have for seasons 3 through 6 so far. ![]() I'm absolutely torn on what to do with seasons 1 and 2 though. They came packaged together for the DVD release, so I only have one piece of cover art to work with, and I'd rather avoid giving them the same cover. I want to separate them if possible. However, if I keep them together, then I'll have to alter the spine slightly and it won't align perfectly with the others. I'll also have to find a good way to combine the big number 1 and 2 on the spine, which is annoying. Ugh. Any suggestions on what to do for seasons 1 and 2 and what I could use for cover art? I have a few ideas, and I might just settle on using the cover art from the 1/2 combo pack for both seasons 1 and 2. Hmmm. Also, do you guys think I should make the spine for season 3 just a flat yellow like the rest? |

1. To make the spines match up, you could label them as "volumes" instead of seasons, so the first 2 would be Volume 1, season 3 would be Volume 2, etc. 2. You could condense the numbers 1 & 2 on the spine, so they would be thinner, but that might look a bit ugly. 3. Use the original cover art for one of those seasons, and try to create a new one for the other. You could use the pictures from other seasons to create a new cover. Just a few examples: ![]() ![]() 4. Redo the cover art for seasons 1 & 2 by splitting it up; use a few faces for season 1 and use the rest for season 2. I've got a similar situation with a few of my movies. Right now, I keep some movie sequels that are only on DVD in the case with the Blu-Ray of the first movie, like Ghostbusters. |

Still working on fixing Pinocchio and Cinderella...
But here are a few more works-in-progress. (Tarzan, The Lion King and Fantasia) There are things I love and hate about them, but I thought I'd get some more opinions before I made any drastic decisions! ![]() ![]() ![]() (All of the films after Walt's death will have either 'Walt Disney Pictures' or 'Walt Disney Pictures Presents,' I haven't decided which I like better yet which is why The Lion King and Tarzan have different headers.) |
