The spine on this looks different from the Futureshop one that just went up for preorder a little while ago, I wonder if its just the mockup?

I was just thinking that also...that definitely looks like a steelbook spine and not a metal pack spine.

I wish this and the other releases with this front artwork were SteelBooks. Not keen on the UK/FR/GER bridge artwork.

I agree, that the spine does look SteelBook.

metalpak, ironpak, steelbook, digibook---any of them are fine with me, i collect them all. i'm just happy anytime the USA gets something in any of these collectable cases. i'm hoping for more and not b!tching about which kind it is. we are so behind the rest of the collectable world for these things, so, lets support them and hope they get to do more releases like this no matter which it is.

my 2 cents of course!

Very much agree. I love when the steelbook crowd, almost feels threatened by the existance of the Metalpak.

Have most of you that preordered this received shipping confirmations yet? I still haven't gotten an email or anything yet.

Yes, I not only received a shipping confirmation, but my disc came today (early!) Definitely a metal pak. Unfortunately it has a very small scratch or two on it that weren't noticeable till the plastic came off.

Otherwise it looks pretty good. I think this is my first metal pak. Guess everything else I have must be steelbooks or iron paks.

Looks more like an Ironpak case to me. It's a strange hybrid design that has a steelbook illusion but opens differently.

Well as long as it doesn't look like a metal pack spine I'm in since I prefer this artwork to the UK and European versions.
