Yes, I open my steelbook. I put them on the shelf, I watch the movies and extras. I just don't get why you won't open your collection. It's like collecting just the cases. Enjoy the movie, enjoy the steelbook. Enjoy the content!

Yes I open them - Whats the point in pissing money away on a movie if you have no intention of watching it? Anyone who sits and gets off on looking at their sealed steelbooks needs to get out more.

Please no butt hurt - just my 2 cents..

I open the steelbooks. I buy them because i really like the movie and i want to have it in steelbook. I never buy a steelbook because the steelbook cover is great but the movie is awfull . Also i never blind buy a steelbook. I have to watch it first, and then if i really like the movie i will get it in steelbook.

The only ones I keep sealed are those that came without a disc inside. What is the point to buy a movie an not enjoy it? As soon I buy one I remove the disc and rapidly protect the case in a plastic sleeve and protect the discs in another case.

I buy steelbooks to watch the movie they contain, so yes, I am use to open every steelbook I got.

And besides, what is the point of having an embossed/debossed steelbook sealed???

This thread reminded me of that Big Bang Theory episode where Sheldon is persuaded to take an action figure out of its packaging and play with it, only to end up breaking it

I have a few steelbooks sealed but eventually plan on opening them when I feel like watching the film, if I wanted my steelbooks around to later sell on I would buy two watch one and keep the other to sell.
