Who reads Movie Novelizations?

I do sometimes, but it depends on the movie and how well I liked it. It's sometimes very interesting seeing the small differences between the movie and the novelization.

I picked up the Pacific Rim novelization to read this past week, from the get-go the prologue is a little bit different. I haven't really started reading it yet though.

I'm not 100% certain but I believe the last novelization I picked up was the one for Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. It has been a good while since I read it but I do recall that the book was structured into distinct episodes, as in a movie serial, which is what Kerry Conran wanted to do with the movie but Paramount put the kibosh on that (along with other negative meddling).

Really? I did get the feeling that that was what he wanted, but to find out that he wanted to go that route is kinda interesting. I may have to pick up the novel for that to see for myself then.
