Looks really nice. I'll have to watch the ones I already have before deciding to purchase this.

it will be hard to part with the amaray versions with nice slipcovers.

I likely will too., but I'll have to wait and see what BB has for their exclusive. I'm looking forward to owning the deluxe edition regardless of which one I get. I skipped the individual ones in the hopes of it coming, and it's been testing my patience to wait lol

I'll probably get the regular one with the slipcover, unless this is G2 size. Good thing I didn't get the earlier releases.

BB has an early release of this movie but I think I will wait and see if this is a G2 steelbook. I really hope it is!

It's wasn't.

Just a normal release with a boring flat slipcover. No emboss, holofoil or anything.

Damn that sucks! I've never had that problem whenever I buy a steelbook. I just hope my target still has them. I didnt think these will sell out fast since most of us have the movies already.

Does anyone's steelbook push in and out when touching the front? It's similar to a popping sound a can makes when pushing on it. I'm just curious.

Mine does slightly. But all of my steelbooks with embossing make this sound.

I noticed that too as I was on my way to the cashier. I went back and checked the remaining 6 copies and they all made that popping sound.

Yep, I came here to post this very thing. There is a slight popping around the embossing. My target had about 7 copies and they ALL had the same exact problem. I was actually rethinking my purchase, ready to put it back on the shelve. Hopefully I'm able to fix it somehow because it bugs me. Otherwise flawless steelbook. I'm framing the little cards, the artwork is epic!

Wouldn't that be something if they started releasing all of the other WB/DC Animated features on steelbook. I would have zero interest, but it might attract the steelbook crowd. Sorry if this already asked, but any inside art?

It's an easy source of profit for a reseller with little downside risk, since Target has such a lengthy return policy. The guy will probably put them up on eBay for an outrageous price and any units he doesn't sell will get returned to Target before the return period is up.

Well, it should be an easy decision considering this version puts both part 1 and 2 together into one seamless movie, which is the main reason I'm getting it.
