That's a pretty shocking result steedeel,I didn't watch it but I didn't see that coming.

Edit:The game obviously changed when you's lost the ex Utd man.

Season after season, we put down good money to watch that that sorry excuse for a football team. I thought, maybe, just maybe, this year will be different. New management, ambitious director, new scouts. no, same old ****!!!!!!!!!!!

total lack of creativity in the middle, the most ineffective strike force i have ever seen in premier league (Wickham and Ji) and midfielders playing as fullbacks. Like David very rightly pointed out, only Flectcher has genuine class up front. I feel sad about my team tonight. Really gutted, we dont deserve this.

Sergio Aguero is the best striker in the Premier League. That is all. Okay, bye.

Maybe in an alternative universe where Van Persie does not exist.

Speaking of RVP...he was great today!

Great win for Liverpool, they really wanted it more. Nice midfield play, defense and containment. Would have been nice to see more attacking in the second half but the defensive strategy worked well today.

Lets see who has scored more at end of season. Clue, he won't be wearing blue.

You may be right come the end of season, sure. But right now RVP seems out of form. Blanked two games in a row, and when isolated and contained he hasn't done crap so far. Only the beginning of the season though, so we'll just have to see as time rolls on.

[Show spoiler]It's sure not Aguero though lol

Great win yesterday could see we wanted it more and defended well second half but we dropped too deep heart in mouth when RVP had that chance late on.

Happy with the Sakho signing, looks like we might be sending Borini out on loan to Sunderland hopefully Di Canio can get him scoring goals still only young.

Think he will be good signing for Sunderland if the deal happens Steedeel

If that and some unknown fullback is our only business, we are down. At least, in my opinion.

From the perspective of a neutral observer, out of all the matches I watched this weekend, the atmosphere and the Liverpool supporters at Anfield rocked!

Sorry for you Steed, it could be a long season.

I don't think Utd turned up David,in saying that Liverpool weren't great either but there ya go.
Sturridge is on fire at the moment,we missed Rooney and creativity in general, hopefully something can be done about that in the next hour!

Are you a Liverpool fan Penton?or just an 'A.B.U.' fan?

I am concerned about the way we seem to be doing business,or the lack thereof,I am more than sure if David Gill had still been in charge then we wouldn't be were we are now in regards to new signings.

I think Utd should have went for Ozil, great buy for Arsenal,I'm sure tob is well chuffed.
Fellaini for me is a good player but not one I particularly wanted to see at Utd,it just appears that he will have to do as for some reason we have been able to thrash out a deal for any other major player.
I mean what was going on with the Herrera situation?very strange indeed.
