Damn right it's a missed opportunity. I could have bought a 2-Disc special edition DVD or a Blu-Ray for better picture and sound quality and extras and WB turned them down?

What does WB have something against Creepshow anyway?

If the Oppo is region free, then yes.

The Oppo players are not region free from factory, but they can be made it fairly easy. Many sellers will sell them with a region free kit pre-installed.

Can't wait for that Creepshow Blu,would love it if they follow it up with part 2.The 1st is my favourite but my favourite segment from either is "The Raft". Glad to hear also that Shakma is possibly on its way.

Importcds have shipped my Psycho's and POD blu-rays too

I finally finished Carrie last night (I swear I didn't know that it was De Palma's birthday). I really started to like it. I really didn't want it to turn into a horror movie, though. I felt really happy for the character of Carrie White being accepted, and was saddened to see what happened. I say this because it was well done. I knew what was coming, as I saw the cover and read the book. The photography was gorgeous films. It used a similar color palate as The Howling, which also looks gorgeous. I don't like too many remakes, but I must say that I am looking forward to Carrie's.

I think Scorpion Releasing is planning a release of Don't Go in the House next year.

Yep. He told me it will be BD if its in good enough shape to make the cut next year.

DVD Beaver did a review of Day of the Dead, the colors on SF's release are really drastically different ..
